Thank you for the incredible applications submitted for the 3rd Japan International Burlesque Festival! ✨

We received applications from 162 talented performers, with even more international artists joining us this year.

Applications arrived from Japan, South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Singapore, Brazil, the Philippines, Estonia, Puerto Rico, and many more. We are truly honored to welcome such a remarkable global community once again.

We sincerely apologize for the technical issues that occurred during the final rush. At the same time, we were reminded of just how many performers are paying attention to JIBF, and for that we are deeply grateful.

To everyone who spent the last three months creating and refining your act: thank you. We know how much heart and dedication can be poured into just four minutes on stage.

We will carefully watch every submission and give each performance the attention it deserves. Please stay connected with JIBF and follow along with our events and updates. When we are faced with difficult decisions among many outstanding applicants, learning more about an artist and their connection to the festival community can sometimes help provide valuable context.

I am excited to experience burlesque from so many countries and cultures, and I sincerely look forward to meeting you all at the festival.”

Application results will be announced earlier than usual this year.

この度も第3回目のJIBFに向けて、素晴らしいアプリケーション応募の数々をありがとございました‼️

前回を上回る応募者数には至らなかったものの、162人のハイレベルなパフォーマー、そして多くの海外勢からの応募が増えました。

日本、韓国、アメリカ、イギリス、スペイン、カナダ、オーストラリア、ドイツ、フランス、ベルギー、イタリア、シンガポール、ブラジル、フィリピン、エストニア、プエルトリコなどなど…。今年もこんなに集まるなんて思いもよらずプロダクションチーム一同喜んでおります。

ラストスパートで、ネットにアクセスできなくなるなどの事態が発生しご迷惑をおかけしましたが、それだけ多くのパフォーマーにご注目いただいてるのだと実感いたしました。最高の作品を生み出す3カ月、みなさんお疲れ様でした。
